My most memorable vacation was my trip to Orlando in 2010. That week, we went to Walt Disney World. I also went to a Titanic Exhibit down there. I remember getting to ride my favorite rides for the first time on that trip. I also remember seeing the nightly shows at Disney. It sounds like a simple trip to Florida, but it left me with some of my most precious childhood memories.

The first thing that we did in Florida was Titanic: The Experience. It's basically a museum dedicated to the Titanic. When you go in, they give you a card with the name of a real passenger or crew member on it, and you have to roleplay as that person. At the time, the Magic Kingdom Park had the Wishes fireworks spectacular and the Spectromagic Parade. Epcot had Illuminations, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios had Fantasmic! Currently, the only shows that they still have at Disney that were around in my 2010 trip are Illuminations and Fantasmic. The floats for Spectromagic were destroyed by termites about two months after my trip, and the Wishes Fireworks Finale was on May 11, 2017. In its existence, Spectromagic was famous for its music, its use of fiber optics to make some features on floats seem like they’re moving, when they weren’t actually moving. It also featured less well-known Disney Characters such as the Three Little Pigs. I remember loving Spectromagic when I was little. It truly was a beautiful show. Then Wishes used a combination of fireworks and music to tell a story. It told a story about how wishes can come true. In all honesty, I’ve never seen Illuminations or Fantasmic. I saw Spectromagic and Wishes once, and couldn’t stop going back to the Magic Kingdom at night throughout that entire trip just to see Spectromagic and Wishes. The two shows have a special place in my childhood memories.

It was a normal vacation to Florida, but it left me with memories that will last a lifetime. If you ever get the opportunity, I’d recommend visiting those places. You won't regret
