Sometimes small silly things can impact an individual positively or negatively forever. That is exactly what happened to my family. I happened around December, and lucky for us it was something that united us as a family, when i decided to register for soccer team . This simple decision was taken because i wanted to try something new and also I wanted something to do for i couldnt get bored. BUt slowly this hobby turned into something very important for me and my family. Also I remember very clearly the day I had the sudden spark of inspiration to take part in a soccer team. We practiced at a park with a huge green field. I was extremely nervous that first day of practice because i did not now any of the other players and i didn't really know how to play soccer.My uncle was the one who was flooding my brain with all the soccer knowledeg and with that i was determined to learn so whenever i had spare time i would practice some drills and work on my kicking. Slowly my skills improved, then the time came. It was time for my first soccer game. Our first soccer game was on a Sunday and it took place in Ontario. Titans would be facing off the Xolos. The coach decided to put me in defense since i had the speed and strength to stop any opponent from scoring, that's also how i got the name iron woman . During the game i heard people from the sidelines cheering I ended up getting hit in the face that game but we won. Continuously i practiced and practiced and yes my hard work payed off eventually. Now I am a good soccer player and every game i hear cheering from the sidelines. But through all of the cheers and rooting i can pick out my family's screams, they are the ones who support me and they are very proud of what i have been able to accomplish.I am also proud of myself and i am glad i took this opportunity because i have gained knowledge and have met many
One incident that happened to me that change how I thought about sports was when I first started playing soccer. It all started when my mom said that I should join a sport to get me more active. It took me awhile to choose soccer at first because there were so many sports to choose from. I told my mom I wanted to play soccer. She signed me up to play for a non competitive league (GYSA) so I can learn the basics of the sport. She also told me to play I would have to maintain good grades. After hearing that i always tried my best in soccer and school.
This experience has taught me many valuable lessons. I learned that it is important to fight and work for what you believe in. I have learned more skills than soccer, such as teamwork and communication skills. I have learned that it's good to broaden one's horizon by meeting and becoming friends with people from other schools and communities. I'm looking forward to the soccer district and regional, and we hope we qualify for the state championship.
I played soccer since I was seven, as of the last few years I played at a very high level. I have represented Ohio South two times at a regional showcase, I have been invited to participate in a camp in Manchester, England and attended the camp twice. Also last Season for the Newark High School soccer team I was named first team all league and third team all central district. Soccer was the first sport I truly loved to do, I wanted to be the best. I work hours upon hours to master whatever part of the game I wanted to improve on. Soccer has taught me to have a great work ethic, and that mentality came when I was cut from the state team the first time I tried out. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I was destroyed, and I thought I was not good but I knew I could do better. The next year I worked, I got bigger, stronger, faster, my soccer I.Q. was higher;therefore, overall I was a much better player. The result of that work, was that I made the team, but not only, I made the starting line up. After that I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.
Growing up in El Salvador, soccer was a sport that significantly impacted my childhood. My cousins and uncles taught me how to play soccer, as well as various techniques that would later benefit me on the soccer field. At the age of seven I started to play for one of most well-known soccer clubs in El Salvador. Practicing twenty three hours a week was really paying off, as I could see in my medal and trophy gain. From an early age I always knew I would be playing soccer my whole life. My dad showed me the ropes of how to play and got me interested right away. By the age of three I had started playing, and to this day I have not stopped. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and I don’t know where I would be today if I never played. I met some amazing people playing soccer including my coaches who encouraged me and told me never to give up as well as my teammates who became my friends and were always there for me.
I started playing soccer when I was four years old. At the time I had a lot of problems. To name a few, I was bad at working with others, I was a sore loser, and I did not handle pain or disappointment well. When I started to play soccer I had a low self esteem and was terribly shy. Going up and talking to people was not on my list of things to do. This made it pretty hard for me to fit in with all the other kids and make friends. It was hard to enjoy playing soccer when I felt as though I had no friends on the team. My parents noticed my dislike in the sport, but urged me to keep playing anyway.
When I was 9 years old, I played indoors soccer, everything was all good, I practiced with my team, our coach, had a lot of problems, tony was one of best members of of the team, he had of lot of foot power, I was bad I hated the sport, my mom asked me if I wanted to join, I said yeah because I did not want to hurt my moms feelings, my mom got all esatic, when we had our practices, I was okay, until, when one of our games.

Public complains event: When I was child, my family used to support a soccer team which I was not sure why they choose this specific team. I chose to support the same team that they supported. I didn't want to go against them and support another team because that might have caused a conflict between us. At the same time I was not sure if this was a good team to support or not as far as my family is good I goo with that. To be liked and close to my family or my group was all that mattered whether they were right or wrong I just was not able to be different.
I am a soccer player. I am relaxed when it comes to everything but soccer. I am an easy going person I am a leader when it comes to some stuff but not all. I am a very quiet person but I am strong willed. I am a slacker when it comes to school work but when I am outside of school I work really hard and can get a lot of stuff done.
The first time I played football I ran on the field full of joy ready to start practice with my big shoulder pads and my big helmet,my thigh pads,knee pads, side pads, and butt pad making my pants fall down off of me. I pull my pants up every time I run chewing my mouth piece sweating running learning the game of football and seeing the way it is supposed to be played.
Have you ever seen a girl play JV football at North Dickinson? Neither have I because I’m the first. I’m a freshman at ND. I played football before but his is my first high school team. It’s a lot different than Pop Warner football in 5-8 grade. The coaches were a little sketchy of me playing they tried to talk me out of it twice! I couldn’t believe they didn’t think a girl could do it. Yeah they worked me harder but it played off in the first game.
Throughout my undergraduate career, I have had success with my classwork in a variety of different settings. In my Freshman and Sophomore year at Northwestern College, I found myself thriving in the group setting. Much of this was due to the fact that I was extremely busy with my commitment to the college’s soccer team. As classes began I found myself seeking out teammates that shared the same major as myself, Biology Health. We quickly became lab partners in our general biology and chemistry course. It was in this group setting where I also found out that I am a visual learner. I started playing volleyball in seventh grade, and I had completely fallen in love with the sport. Growing up in a small town, our school always struggled to find coaches that were not related to players. In middle school, I would always be so angry that the important named kids got to play in the A team, while I was stuck in the corner with the B team. Eventually, eighth grade year I decided to join a club team, and increase my skill for freshman year. I enjoyed club, I had actually made the one team, and I had virtually no problems with anyone or anything that season. But, just as soon as freshman year rolled around my attitude changes a lot. I’ve gained the perfectionist trait from my mother, and with this mindset in a sport, you’re almost guaranteed to struggle. Freshman year I had just come off of club, so I knew so much more about the sport and its movements. Naturally I wanted to be perfect, I personally believe that I had done really well as a freshman, but when I messed up I became silent.
I 've played soccer my whole life since I was three and have loved it every single year. I played on a non-comp team for the longest time which was a bad idea coming into high school ball. When I got to high school soccer everything changed. Soccer was so much different. I remember my first game first play i had the ball I got hit and i looked at my dad and he kinda shrugged. It took alot to learn how to play at this new level. I worked hard through freshman, sophomore, and junior year. Then came senior year. The season came around and my coach, coach fletcher, had big expectations for me. I suffered through soccer conditioning and lost a few pounds from it. But i 'm getting ahead of myself. the spring season before school ball was my biggest nightmare. I started out the season good. had a goal. But then it happened, I broke my collarbone, again. This time was my worst time yet. I was put as foward to let our forwards have a break. I don 't usually play here. I started out the half with a few opportunities but then the perfect ball was sent over by my defender. He sent the ball over and I took off. I ran as fast as lightning after that ball. I brought my foot back to take a shot and BAM!! I got hit with a shoulder from behind. I fell and felt a snap. I broke my collar bone for the 4th time. So I had to miss out on the rest of the season that spring. I came back for school ball and
