Personal Narrative About Fishing

When I woke up it was around seven in the morning. It was the day after we had arrived at camp and I was exhausted from the first day. After I had fully woken up I walked out off the tent and breathed in a smell of fresh air. It was completely overcast and there was a slight breeze. I had planned on going fishing that day and since I was still stuck in my stubborn ways there was no way I was going to cancel those plans. There were multiple people who I had went camping with but, not everyone wanted to go fishing that day. A few of us wanted to go fishing and the rest wanted to go canoeing. We did not have a problem with how long we would have to walk or anything similar, but we were worried that a storm might move in. As we continued to walk it started to mist. We were fine with it misting as long as it did not start to pick up and become worse. As we continued to follow the trail we saw that a tree had fallen into the path so instead of just going around it we decided to move it out of the path which would have been fine if we were not racing against the little time we did not know we had.The rain stayed steady as we moved the tree out of the path and we continued along the trail. We reached the part of the trail that we would have to cut through the trees so that we could get to the fishing spot faster as we went into the woods the rain started to slowly pick but then out of nowhere it was like a wave crashing over us and it came down in torrents soaking us head to toe. We quickly found some trees to go underneath to get us out of the rain and thankfully there was no lighting because that would of been unsafe. We wanted to wait out the entire rainfall but it was evident that it was going to stop completely but it might start to let up a little
