“We may all have different religions, different languages, different colored skin, but we all belong to one human race.” Equality is a varying word that could be out to signify anything; even for ancient people who were discriminated and pushed out of their homeland, or for African American leaders who fought out of discrimination. Several people find it impossible for equality to be met and others just don’t care. Perfection is an “imaginary” a word to some, but is it right to say that equality is imaginary too? People should cut the resentment of today’s equality, past events, and global inequalities. Today’s equality is a series of negativity and positivity. For example, bullying has quickly dissolved, with notably no coverage on the topic. Gay rights have shifted our society into a broader light, still some states find it immoral, mostly because religious beliefs. Creating a system where same sex is allowed everywhere would be more than a challenge. If we were to do as Europe did and amend our rights for homosexual and lesbian equality, we could steer clear out of hostility and into equality. Some blacks fought during WWII, despite fighting for a country that treated them with no respect. They fought for a country that didn’t even want them in it! Rebecca Felton, a white supremacist, stated “If it requires lynching to protect women’s dearest possession”, “I say lynch a thousand Negros a week”. Claiming that the fight fit black rights were understandable is an understatement, within it lays a more complex struggle.
