Does Percy Jackson have ADHD? Percy has been diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). The main traits of ADHD are inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. The ADHD child often has trouble keeping his mind on one thing and organizing a task. He/ She feels restless and fidgety. He/She may blurt out comments or act without thinking. Dose this profile fit Percy? I think that Percy has ADHD because he only pays attention to the thing that he is interested in and he gets straight D’s .Do you think that Percy has ADHD?

To me it sounds like Percy does have ADHD when he is not doing something he likes. Lastly, Percy Jackson is a straight D student. One of the symptoms of ADHD is not being able to pay attention and most likely not to get bad grades. In the book Percy Jackson and the lightning thief Percy does not pay attention to anything unless he likes the subject or likes what he is doing. When he was in Chiron class, he payed attention because he liked learning at the Gods (FYI, his FATHER and UNCLES). When he went on the field trip he somewhat paid attention to everything that Chiron was stating and saying. Percy Jackson was treated horribly by his classmates because he has ADHD.
