Dear "Bilal", Hello "Bilal", I'm writing to you about the Peer Tutoring class that is offered in our school. I believe that the course could offer you an opportunity to a) develop and learn leadership skills, b) bond with students that you may not necessarily interact with otherwise, and c) receive a review of topics from a course you've already taken. First of all, the Peer Tutoring course allows for students like us to develop our leadership skills. Skills like patience, organization, responsibility, communication, and positivity. For example, patience is a very useful skill which is developed during one's time as a Peer Tutor. Throughout the semester, many students are asking you for help on questions. Due to the nature of humans, some people grasp how to do the question quicker than others; because of this, you have to be patient with students when they are having a harder time grasping certain concepts. For example, the class I Peer Tutor consists of friends, international students, and grade 10 students. A fair number of students in the class are friends of mine and people I interact with on a regular basis. However, there is also a good chunk of students that I have little interaction with besides the class, most notably international students and grade 10 students. I usually have very little interaction with international students but with the addition of a Peer Tutoring class in my time schedule, I am able to talk with and get to know them. Furthermore, I am able to talk to the grade 10 students who are taking the course. As a grade 11 student, I usually don't share any class or am in close proximity to grade 10s apart from Peer Tutoring. If it wasn't for Peer Tutoring, I wouldn't be able to meet and talk with the wide array of students that make up my Peer Tutor
