Parenting styles
Good parenting remains to be the primary challenge most parents do face in the world today. Whether you are a first-time parent or you already been in the parenting world for quite sometimes, every day new challenging issues keep coming your way as a parent that require much of your attention. Every day parents face a lot of challenges regarding their children as they cruise on with the business of parenting. So far there is no formula to good parenting, but a parent or guardian should wake up every morning bearing in mind that they need to be ready to face the daily challenges of parenting that may come their way because they keep on changing on regular bases. Once a parent gets a kid for the first time his or her biggest worry is that what the parent will do to keep the child busy during his or her leisure time once the kid is of age that is the teenage years. The adolescent years for any kid are very challenging because this is the moment the child is more active in life and the urge to try anything new as their peers do keep growing stronger. The only parenting style parents should adopt to counter this dilemma is to try and enroll their children in part time jobs and activities. This is a perfect remedy for the young teenagers to stay away from alcohol and drugs and joining criminal gangs because they are always engaged and occupied. Furthermore, the skills students they acquire during their engagement in part-time activities and part-time jobs will be of great use in their near future and cultivate in creating a whole rounded individual that is of great importance to the modern society (Amitai, 149)
In conclusion, the parenting styles discussed above are not the only ones that are known, but there are so many parenting styles parents choose to adapt to undertake their responsibility of parenting with care and caution. Good parenting can only be measured on how well behaved and the admirable the characters of the children are. Young parents, out there should always be on the lookout to devise ways of handling their children whenever anything critical comes on
