Outsourcing in Today's World
Outsourcing has become an increasingly popular alternative to today’s high costs in business and manufacturing. It largely affects today’s market from a buyer’s perspective, as well as employee perspective. Manufacturers have turned to outsourcing to be more competitive by lowering overall costs. This may include turning over a segment of your business to another company, or by simply duplicating your operations of manufacturing in a different country. Regardless of how it’s done, outsourcing is an ongoing debate between American workers, and bloodthirsty businesses in a ferociously competitive world.
Outsourcing is the process of subcontracting operations and support to an organization outside the company to replace performance of the task with an organization’s internal operations. (www.hjventure.com) Simply stated, outsourcing takes place when an organization transfers the ownership of a business process to a supplier. What makes this process so important is the fact that no matter what the product, there is a continuing effort to ship it outside of America to make it cheaper. This is the number one single reason for outsourcing, reducing or at least, control operating costs. It has been reported that on average, companies have seen approximately a 40% reduction in costs through outsourcing. (www.intozone.com) Because of this large reduction, it makes it almost impossible for similar companies to stay competitive unless they to begin to outsource.

...le. If people begin to realize that a little more money spent up front can save money on unemployment taxes, crime, etc. then maybe this world could be a better place. Hopefully, businesses would gain a better sense of the word value, and have less interest in the word profit. This was a very interesting subject, and I hope that over the next few years outsourcing evolves into making the entire world a better place, rather than just increasing large business profits.

Juvenile delinquency is a problem these days, despite a recent drop in arrests. Roughly 2.5 million juveniles are arrested every year for different crimes in America. About 100,000 of those are violent crimes, however those statistics are slightly inaccurate since only half of juvenile crimes are reported (Juvenile Justice Basic Statistics, 2011). Creating interventions to assist at-risk youth means preventing them from starting on a path to crime is a priority. Juvenile justice system researchers and professionals must gain a better understanding of the contributing elements that cause delinquent behavior.

The Cajuns enjoyed festivals, dancing, and food that are essential parts of bayou life. The Cajun was people who would make do with what they had. The Cajuns would work and play with equivalent enthusiasm. As the problem of job outsourcing becomes more of an issue in politics, elected officials like the President and Congress will no longer be able to ignore the dilemma. The war in Iraq has been at the forefront of the presidential race but the importance of outsourcing American jobs seems to have been slightly overshadowed. If the issue of outsourcing is not watched carefully and a definitive plan hammered out, a trickling down of negative effects may occur within the U.S. economy. However, there is a polarized opinion on the effects of this “phenomenon”.

It will cause a lack of jobs that will run the economy into the ground, and ruin the lives of the citizens of the United States. All of that so a business can use its faulty practices to make a higher profit. Outsourcing has consequences that will haunt the average American and their families for the rest of their existence on this planet.
The lack of knowledge Americans have on the subject of consumers affecting outsourcing is leading our country to economic stress but if we begin to recognize the issue, the jobs we could potentially save may be our own. We have examined how consumers unintentionally assist the growth of outsourcing and the different ways we as individuals can attribute to a solutions. Also we have explored an attempt the government has taken and how people are trying to further this attempt and gain further understanding so we can work towards a successful solution. Hopefully we can further inform American consumers of this issue and help them to understand how much control they have over outsourcing.

Shakespearean works are well known for their depth, symbolism and philosophical view upon different aspects of life. Mirroring is one of Shakespeare’s favorite tools. Mirroring is used to emphasize the contrast and show differences between the sides of the society and ways of living of the characters. The Merchant of Venice is no exception. Just like all other plays of Shakespeare it has many of antagonisms and it portrays the most important and hot conflicts that used to be popular at that time just as much as they are now. Exploring this multi dimensional play is exciting, because the more you think about it, the more hints and tints you discover. The play takes place in two main locations – Venice and Belmont. These two places portray two different lifestyles. One of the most important and essential themes of the Merchant of Venice is wealth. Shakespeare has a special view of this subject; he sees love as a form of wealth (Milton 34). Venice represents earning of money, accumulating it, protecting it, fighting for it; and at the same time Belmont demonstrates having money an all other life’s pleasures, this is why life in Belmont is so happy, slow and peaceful, and the whole location is so dreamlike. Being rich and having nothing to worry about is a dream of most people. To my mind, Belmont and Venice present two different sides of wealth.
No matter how big or small a business is, a business is able to outsource services that they could not do profitable on their own. Outsourcing is shifting all of the costs — accounting costs, including personnel, plus the risk of failure and the responsibility for action — to the third party. In return for assuming costs, the third party benefits by controlling the operation (Coughlan 167). This is the basic definition of outsourcing. Outsourcing has long been discussed and many people blame outsourcing for job loss. However, while many jobs were actually lost due to automation, technology, and overall improved efficiencies. There hasn't been enough attention drawn to the exploitative nature of outsourcing in the many sweatshops that often lead to abusive behavior and denegation of human rights. Unfortunately, many of the household items and technology that we come to value are often created in sweatshops that not only take advantage of adult labor but often child labor as well. Outsourcing is a technique for companies to reassign specific responsibilities to external entities. There are several motivations for outsourcing including organizational, improvement, cost, and revenue advantages (Ghodeswar & Vaidyanathan, 2008).
According the Rogers (2013), there are causal factors at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels that can lead youth to engage in delinquent activity. At the micro level, the factors that predict delinquency involve: being male, low educational achievement, low impulse control, childhood aggression, antisocial behavior, and hyperactivity. At the mezzo level, family conflict, lack of family support and appropriate discipline, and negative peer pressure can be risk factors for juvenile. On a macro level, youth that live in poverty or in high-crime urban neighborhoods, and are exposed to violence at home and in their neighborhoods, have a higher risk of engaging in delinquent behaviors. Juvenile delinquency is without a doubt one of the most crucial topics that we face in our society today. Children and teens do not only shape our future, but will also pave the footsteps for future generations. What prompts this criminal behavior? And why is the proportion of delinquents in society seemingly increasing? As we will see, many factors play a role in molding personality; these factors include gender, family, and schools.
