A. Jane Austen was born on December 16, 1775, in Stevenson, England. Austen was the child of George and Cassandra Austen and was the seventh child out of eight. She was a famous author who was best known for her writings about the conception of love. Some of her best known novels include Sense and Sensibility, Sanditon, Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, and Emma. While not broadly known time permitting, Austen's comic books of affection didn’t become popular to the upper classes until 1869. In 1816, Jane began to wind up sick with Addison's illness. While Austen got a few honors for her works while she was still alive. She didn’t gain full recognition until after her death when Henry, her brother, shared that she was a writer.
B. The news that
There were many memorable, important quotes in Pride and Prejudice. The book opens up with the first sentence stating, “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.” This sentence additionally offers a little outline of the whole plot, which emphasizes the idea that men value and have a need for women. Another quote that was memorable to me was in chapter 3 when Darcy states, “Which do you mean?” and turning round, he looked for a moment at Elizabeth, till catching her eye, he withdrew his own and coldly said, “She is tolerable; but not handsome enough to tempt me; and I am in no humour at present to give consequence to young ladies who are slighted by other men. You had better return to your partner and enjoy her smiles, for you are wasting your time with me.” These words describe Darcy’s response at the first ball in to Bingley’s proposition that he dances with Elizabeth. Darcy, who sees the people of Meryton as his social inferiors, arrogantly refuses to dance with someone “not handsome enough” for him. In chapter 24, Mr. Bennett was talking to Elizabeth about marriage and he states, "A girl likes to be crossed a little in love now and then." This stuck out to me because this is a true statement in today’s world and it shows that men aren’t the only ones who like to be

Even knowing these qualities were important in her life she criticized them. Jane’s writing is somewhat comical, because even while criticising those normal discriminations in her book Pride and Prejudice, the book was published with a prejudiced nameless cover, shedding even greater light on the lack of sense and shortcoming of sensibility of eighteenth century Great Britain. So in order for women to hide their identity while writing about things that were highly controversial they used male pen names. Female authors resorted to pseudonyms to become published and to not be shunned away by their readers, and only after they did this their work was taken as serious literature.
