Phineas and Ferb Slide Notes Slide 2: Character Description Phineas- One of the show's main characters. The series is about Phineas's attempts to avoid boredom by finding something unique and different to do every day of the summer vacation. With the help of his step-brother, Ferb, they accomplish this. One of his best friends is Isabella. Ferb- The other main character of this show. Lawrence Fletcher, his father, married Linda Flynn, Phineas' mom, making them step-brothers. Ferb came from the United Kingdom. Although he doesn't speak often in this show, he is a master of engineering. He is usually the mastermind behind all of their inventions. Candace-Phineas's fifteen-year-old older sister and Ferb's stepsister. She is the main antagonist in that she does not approve of her brothers' wild inventions. In most episodes, her main role is to try and "bust her brothers" by showing her mom. Her best friend is Stacey, and Candace has a huge crush on a boy named Jeremy. Little does she know, he likes her back. Perry- Pet of the main characters. He goes by Agent P. The next character that intrigued me was Brian, the quote-on-quote "nerd." A nerd is a person that is academically inclined and is known for striving to get good grades and being socially inept. His confession of why he was in Saturday detention seemed a lot more serious then it actually turned out to be. He was in Saturday detention because he had a gun in his locker. He bought the gun to kill because he had intent on killing himself.
The first two characters to appear are Piggy and Ralph. They are both probably about twelve years old.

Daisy Buchanan is the preeminent female character in the story. Her name, Daisy fits her exceptionally, she is bright and sunny like the flower. Daisy is best represented by the color yellow. She’s the story’s golden girl, the wife of wealthy broker, and the love of the mysterious Gatsby’s life. Grok describes the color yellow as “Deities with glowing halos and golden hair…But it also evokes a few negative responses in associations with dishonesty, cowardice, egoism, betrayal, and caution” (Grok). Daisy is described physically as a blonde, and back then the style along women was the flapper headband, like the glowing halo. In the story Daisy is dishonest, she cheats on her husband with Gatsby. Daisy is also a coward, she couldn’t leave Tom, her husband, who treats her like property for Gatsby, who truly loves and idolizes her. Daisy once tells Nick when telling him about her daughter, “I hope she’ll be a fool. That’s the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool” (1.17). Daisy is immensely obsessed with what people think of her, she likes being the girl who has this beautiful and graceful aura.
