The country of New Zealand is made up of two main islands and a number of smaller islands. The two main islands are divided by the Cook Strait, which it has to its narrowest point 22 kilometres wide from it.Besides the islands from the North and the South, it has five of them that are the largest inhabited islands are Chatham Islands,Stewart Island,etc….

The country of New Zealand is located in the Oceania continent. Its absolute locations is 41.4395° S in latitude, and 172.1936° E in longitude. It is an island country located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. New Zealand is located about 1,500 kilometers east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and approximately 1,000 kilometres south; which are the pacific island areas of Fiji, Tonga, and New Caledonia.

New Zealand is very narrow with more than 15,000 km of coastline. It has a total area of 268,000 square kilometers. The Southern Alps is one of the most amazing characteristics of the South Island. There are 18 peaks in total that are over 3,000 meters. Compared to the South Island, the North Island has less mountains but has volcanoes instead.
The country has a warm and temperate climate with temperatures varying from 10°C in the south to 16°C in the north. Christchurch is the driest city in New Zealand receiving an average of 640 millimeters of rain per year and Auckland, the wettest, receiving almost the double of that amount. Snow season in the Sound Island is generally in early June until early October. In the North it is less likely to snow, but it has occurred.

Hip-hop is usually more humorous and much less violent and sexist in New Zealand. Classical music has lost popular support in the last decades, but they produced several successful composers and internationally famous opera singers. Reggae is also popular amongst Maoris and Pacific Islanders ºwhich reflect their roots, perspectives, and cultural pride and heritage of their music.
