I went downstairs to grab a coffee in the breakfast area of the hotel and a delicious chocolate Boston cream filling doughnut with even more frosting on top guiltily ate two donuts. ''airport please '' I said quietly ,''s pose to be a good day today weather wise in all '' , I ignored him .I arrived rather quickly to the airport it was only down the road 5 minutes tops ,i grabbed my belongings and gave him 5 dollars then walked to the lobby of the airport. Once I made it through the security check, I then took the elevators up to the will call window to pick up my tickets. Then proceeded towards the line to get my
It was the morning of September 1, 2001 and my team and I were heading back to San Francisco. We were heading back home after a tough win over the Nets in New Jersey. I tried to get some of my other teammates to ride on the same flight as me, but they all said no. I started toward the airport at about six o'clock and arrived at about six-thirty. When I got there I checked my ticket. It said I'd have to be at gate 17 by seven-thirty and that flight 93 would be leaving at eight o'clock. I checked my watch and it said I still had an hour to wait, so I took a seat and got out my phone to check the highlights from last night's game. I was a little surprised that my dunk was apart of the highlights. Then, I heard the worst possible sound you could hear at an airport. “Flight 93 has been delayed. We'll try to get the plane ready as soon as we can,” the intercom boomed across the airport. “Great,” I thought. Since
The plane started to take off and moments later we were high above the ground. There were 7 crew members on at the
After a while, the intercom said, “Ladies and gentlemen: Here is the captain. Please sit down, keep remaining seating. We have a bomb on board. So sit.”
I sat back plugged in my headphones into my phone and listened to some music. I meet up with my friends near the check in booth. We sat and waited resting my back against the wall. We then approached the gate during boarding. I searched my pockets swiftly and felt the emptiness on the cotton. I went to the the gate desk and told them my situation
It seemed like forever before we would finally be on our way, but then before I knew it we were on the airplane and the flight attendant is announcing fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing into Leonardo da Vinci airport.
Today I boarded an airplane in Philadelphia. I haven’t been on a plane before, so I was
I didn't know what he was doing but soon I realized he was helping us. After the man grabbed the baggage I walked towards the entrance of the jet.
“Please lie down” My hands and feet were bound to the sides. After that were heading off. The ride only lasted around twenty minutes with a paramedic riding in the back with me asking questions about my health, and I answered what I could. Still attached to the stretcher they pulled me out of the ambulance smoothly and rolled inside. The next couple of hours flew by though quiet tears. They let us stay up till eleven watching movies, but after that the lights were turned off and we were told to rest. I slept until about one and was awoken by one of the
I just had one of the best weekends of my life. Two days ago I was in this very location but on arrival. I was planning to surprise my sister who I hadn’t seen in months. The look on her face was well-worth the trip. However, like any perfect trips, it went by much too quick. Every moment brought me right down to this location and time. I am in the SMF Sacramento airport; every sound, smell, and site makes this experience what is – a nightmare.

“What’s happening to me?” I screamed and tried to move my body but I was stuck. My breathing got faster and faster as all my worst interpretations of what was
It was the morning of my flight, the air was warm and the grass was dewy. I packed my things in the trunk and sat quietly the during the whole car ride. I was too nervous to talk, I could only think about the flight. I would be flying alone, there and back. I hesitated as we walked through the entrance but I thought of my father and continued inside. At the check-in counter they took my baggage and gave me a red and white striped pin. It was to identify me as a unaccompanied minor. B...

Four medium size luggages lined up by the large front door, two yellow cabs standing in the drive way with their lights on. 03:00 am, it is time to head to the airport, I tried to have a few hours of sleep, but it was hopeless. I just managed to go through memories of the last seven years.
