When you think of emotions you think of the classic, sadness, happiness, and madness. The one people often forget is the emotion of anxiety. Anxiety is one of the only emotions that you can have and actually not show it. Anxiety itself is very strange, depending on who you are, and how your brain works, anything can cause it . Anxiety usually follows you throughout your life but for some people, it changes as you change and grow. You aren 't the same height as you were when you were 6, you grew. There’ s a chance that the anxiety you encounter works the same way. Some classic emotions remain the same throughout your life for the most part, but anxiety as a tendency to morph. That was the day of our first speech. Public speaking has been know from anxiety producing abilities, and on that day, it hit me like a tsunami . As I began, I soon found myself frozen. I even tried to end it early to try to save myself some humility, completely forgetting that I was required to stay up here for at least 1:30 seconds. A friend and I were going to the gym. He only lives about a 4-minute walk from my house so he decided to walk home and change his clothes to the appropriate attire and told me to meet him at his house in about 15 minutes. A few minutes later as the time approached I left about 7 minutes early to be exact because I get extremely OCD (which is a form of anxiety) about being punctual. I was going to walk, but I decided to drive there to increase my chances of being on time. Once I got there I found him crying, hovering over hundreds of pills scattered throughout his living room and a knife by his side. On that day, my friend attempted suicide. If it wasn’t for my anxiety about being on time, I would 've never been able to get him to regurgitate all the medication that he took, and possibly something worse could’ve happened
