My Self-Management Questionnaire

On the self-awareness questionnaire, I scored a total of 14. With that being said, I have a lot of great skills with my self-awareness. I am able to know when I am about to become angry and upset. I always tell myself when I feel that I’m in a good or bad mood, and I know what causes my emotions to change. There is need for improvement in this area because I’m unsure if I pay a lot of attention to how I feel. However, I do know when I start to become a little defensive. On the self-management questionnaire I scored a total of 15. This puts me at the top quartile which is the best. I know myself causing me to step away from an issue and come back later to resolve it. This total is in the average quartile. I have room for improvement to work on with my social awareness. I need to become more aware of others, I happen to sense the impact of my words or behavior on others. My great strengths outweigh my bad causing me to have this score of 14. On the relationship management questionnaire I scored a total of 14. The total of 14 is also in the top quartile as well. With the relationship management, I frequently initiate the successful resolution of a conflict. With my positive thoughts, it’s very easy for me to make a point with other people. I’m easy to get along with and cooperate with other people no matter what the situation may be. With procrastination, I find out that I still need major improvement. I always seem to buy gifts at the last minute. With this type of behavior, this may be critical if I’m married or have children in the future. Doing things on time will kill the procrastination. I often say to myself, “I have enough time to do it later.” That’s one big killer that would cause me to delay my goals that I have set for me. According to Burka, “When people observe their behavior and clarify what’s behind their resistance, they may realize that they are automatically reacting with old patterns and fears from the past, rather than responding to circumstances in the present situation (Burka 153).” With this research this allows me to focus more on improvement and that means to not look back on my past, but be positive and do it now then delay what to do. On the metacognition and self-reflection questionnaire I scored a total of 13. A total of 13 are above average but it is not at the top quartile. One pattern that I notice is that when I read I stop occasionally to see what the topic means. This may take a lot of time out from reading the actual material but I have to know what certain words mean so that I can understand the text. I ask myself questions a lot such as how am I doing something and I think about assumptions when things aren’t clear. These are a few good strengths and possible
