If you are entering a teaching profession you can take away a lot of good themes from this book. I believe a lot of the teachers go through similar experiences like Mr. Mitch with his students. You will be working with students from different ethic backgrounds, cultures, race, and perspective, and it is your responsibility as a teacher to help these students succeed in and outside of your classroom. There may be cases where you are going to work with students who come from struggling families, and lack of proper resources to take their education serious. You cannot get discouraged about you can only try your best to help these students succeed regardless of the circumstances. Even though you are in charge of your classroom and you are the teacher some times you have to sit back and learn from other students. These students have young and creative minds that are constantly thinking in creative ways. …show more content…

You will learn that you are not just an educator, but friend, a role model who these young children look up to. Each classroom will have their own unique teaching style that favor majority of the students, and when you find their strengths it is your duty to capitalize on it, and make the class fun and interesting. I believe if you have a passion for teaching you will figure out the most effective and efficient ways teaching and connecting to your students through experiences. You will fail. You will succeed. You will be depressed! You will be afraid! But ultimately I believe teaching is one of the most fulfilling professions in the world. Being able to be a role model and helping students figure out themselves has to be the great reward you can achieve. Teachers truly make the world a better place we live
