My Family Is Like A Bear Essay

Joan Vinge once said," We are all born with a unique genetic blueprint, which lays out the basic characteristics of our personality as well as our physical health and appearance.... And yet, we all know that life experiences do change us." (Brainyquote.com) My family is like a bear with its strength, nosey like a monkey, handy like a beaver, blunt like a badger, and bright like a warthog. The reason why my family is like a bear with its strength is because we do not stop at anything. If we want something we go for it. One time in college, my sister had a moment when she thought she was going to switch her major because she was a mile high in stress. She did not switch, she kept going and she finished. Now she is in graduate school for Audiology.

My relatives tends to not beat around the bush. All of us do not wait and think of a way to ask a question or say something in a different way. We come straight out and say whatever we have on our minds. Some people do not like, that but it is just the way we are. One time my aunt got me a gift card for a restaurant where I do not eat at anymore and I told her just that. She did not mind, thankfully, but my sister did. She could not believe I did that, but, I wanted my aunt to know before she asked about it.
Finally, my family is bright like a warthog. All of us can figure out how to do whatever we so please to do if that is what we want to do. My extended family is the same way. My cousin has done gymnastics all her life and she is still doing it in college and succeeding at the same time. Same with my other cousin, he is in medical school at the moment and can not decide on what to do because he is enjoying more than one career he has had clinics for.
