I wouldn’t suspect I would be here today, in court while I should have been at school, accused for something I didn’t do. How would I ever kill someone? I’m Amanda Lozano, a senior at UCLA (University of California, LA) The only thing I payed attention to was school. I was getting good grades and I was about to graduate with a major in writing. I was about to publish my first book, but this, this cruel person who accused me stopped me from my dreams. But I tell you I’m innocent, I’m innocent! I have been accused of second degree murder in the death of Ashley Kasten a former junior at UCLA. Ever since I moved in I had suspicions of my roommate. My roommate was Ashley. She was rude, and only talked to her best friend Lauren. Lauren was kind …show more content…

So, I went to Vienna. I asked Vienna where Lauren was on that day. Vienna said that Lauren was hanging out with Ashley, but she left and wasn’t seen again until the body was found dead. On the second day of my seven, I decided to enlist the help of a private investigator named John Peters. I kept repeating to him that we must be fast as I’m slowly running out of time. By this time Lauren and Vienna were best friends again. So, I couldn’t ask Vienna for Info. Peters and I first decided to assess the room. Peters found one little piece of evidence. It was a hair clip and a little piece of blonde hair. Lauren had blonde hair it was Lauren! Peters was doubting it though. He said she wasn’t suspicious and it didn’t appear to be the same shade of yellow. Lately whenever I try talking to Vienna she’s been weird and keeping more and more to herself. I decided to talk to Lauren and she just blamed it all on me again, as she cried and cried as she mourned the death of her friend. Then Vienna entered, and gave this haunting gaze, I knew she didn’t want me to be there. I got up and as I was leaving Peters was waiting outside. He asked me a few questions about Vienna. Then he mentioned that she had been wearing the same hair clip that we had found, and her hair was the same colour. It finally made sense. Vienna hated Ashley because she took Lauren away from her. Then I knew why she was so weird and kept to herself.
