The movie v story, the movie was different from the story (Vis versa) in very many different ways. First of all they threw him in a trunk, but in the story the grabbed him. Second they camped outside not in a cave like the story. Third they drove a car not a buggy like in the story. The movie was similar to the book (Vis versa) in very many ways first they wanted 2 grand in the story similar to the movie. Second they both lowered the original price to 1500$ and third they both paid 250$ for the return of the boy red chief. Thank god! I have finally got the wonderful peace I have been o so craving. That ratchet boy has finally disappeared. My beautiful puppy dog has finally started to heal from those nasty cuts and scrapes given to him by
There are few similarities between the book and the movie. Usually most movies are similar to
The characters make a big difference in the movie and the book. One thing they both have in common is that Otis Amber and Berthe Erica Crow get married. And that Edgar Jennings Plum and Angela Wexler get engaged instead of Doctor Denton Deere. Also Jake Wexler is a gambler instead of being a bookie.
For example, Mama goes to the bank in the movie and is given a hard time about paying her mortgage, but this did not happen in the book. Another major difference is that the school bus scene, where the Logan kids played a trick on the white kids, was not shown in the movie, even though it was an important part of the story. There are some character changes as well. Lillian Jean, Jeremy, R.W, and Melvin are Simms’ in the book, but in the movie they are Kaleb Wallace’s children. However, the main plot difference is how the movie starts in the middle, summarizing everything from the first part of the book very briefly. Additionally, many scenes are switched around and placed out of order. Altogether, the plot and character changes contribute to my unfavorable impression of the
There are many differences in the movie that were not in the book. In the movie there is a new character in the movie that was not in the book. This character was David Isay.
While watching the movie, I could see that the main characters in the book, both their names and traits, were the same in both the movie and book. However, aside from that there were many different as...
The movie and the story had some of the same characters but some weren't exactly the same. The movie introduced many different characters and changed some of the others. For example, the movie had the plant lady and had the mentor of Anderton as the founders of Precrime while in the book, Anderton was the only founder of Precrime. Also, Witwer wasn't blond he had black hair and Kapler wasn't named Kapler he was named Crow. In the story they had the red head Fleming who did not exist
In the movie, it is told in a third person point of view and the characters look a lot more different than how they do in the book. The movie goes by much quicker than the book. Also Pony goes straight home after the church burns down.
When you get to the beginning, middle, or end u realize they are both very different. The movie and book have a lot in common like they both have the same characters .
Overall, the movie and book have many differences and similarities, some more important than others. The story still is clear without many scenes from the book, but the movie would have more thought in it.
The plot in the film is very similar to the book but in parts, especially towards the end, the plot is slightly different to the film. The plot is varied in the film to show
Each version also has the main characters boarding up the windows. Anyone who thought the birds won’t attack are usually found dead, but in the movie they are found with their eyes pecked out. Also, both the story and the movie have REALLY bad endings! They aren’t very similar, but they both leave you hanging. When you see a movie or read a book you want to know what happens to the main characters. In these two, you didn’t get an ending. They left you hanging and for some people that ruins it all.
I have only included what I have to believe are largely important plot gaps and differences in the movie version in comparison to the book one, and so I apologize again if I have missed any other major ones. Forgive me, please.
Personally I like the movie more than the book. It just gives more of the feeling that you are actually there in the story in the movie. The movie shows the faces they make how they react to something. It just planly better than the book verzion because the book verzion may say the facecial expresions, but you can’t see them like you can in the movie. There is some many reasons why the movies better I just can’t list them all.
One other difference between film and the novel is the scene. In the film it started with Ponyboy,Johnny,And Dally going to the moviehouse.
There are many notable differences between the book and the movie of To Kill a Mockingbird. Although not all of the differences change the outcome of the full story. First, Jem retrieved his pants from the Radley fence, and Dill did not make up strip poker. Second, Aunt Alexandria never comes to live with the children. Third, the children never go to church with Calpurnia.
