You envision sights from the peak of the summit, a full panorama of wispy clouds around and in the distance and peaks ascending up into the atmosphere. Views encompassing 200 miles. Many have dared,though few have survived and descended without a scratch. Are you prepared to endeavour an expedition up to the peak of Mount Everest to endure -70 temperatures and the shear elevation like a God ? The Summit of Mount Everest reaches 29,008 Ft. to the heavens enveloped between Nepal and Tibet. How could climbers prepare accomplish the feat? An Everest expedition’s success requires sufficient resources, a firm hold of the geography, and extensive scheduling regardless of the climber’s experience.

To start off, Climbers are envisioned as hauling gigantic luggage ,but what are the sufficient resources needed for a successful expedition to the Mountain? A list of equipment a climber would need are thermo protective clothing, oxygen tanks and a regulator ( Krakauer). Oxygen tanks are needed as you elevate into the atmosphere as the thinning air will be less dense with Oxygen. Oxygen is an essential element the body needs to supply blood throughout the body (? Personal Knowledge - Science class)?. Into thin air, an account of expedition by John “the climbers on the team attained impaired cognitive function within 10 minutes” (Krakauer). “Ten minutes later all my oxygen was gone; my cognitive function which was marginal before instantly went into a nosedive “(Krakauer). Impaired cognitive functions would impede the expedition by causing faulty footwork and slipping. Tight clothing will prevent dangers from the -70 temperatures animated from the raging gale.
