Should you rely on helicopters to save your life if you are putting your life on risk? The climbers know it's dangerous to go climb Mount Everest. We are risking rangers´ lives to go and help us, even though we know something could happen, and it costs a lot of money to go and climb it just to get hurt. These are the reasons I think we shouldn't rely on helicopters to save our lives if you put your own life on a risk. The first reason we shouldn’t rescue climbers on Mount Everest is the climbers know ahead of time that it is dangerous. Mount Everest is 29,029 feet tall and if you decide that you are going to go climb it you have to know that is is going to be dangerous. In ¨Why Everest¨ it talks about how you might get all the way up there but you also have to climb back down and by time you get half way down you could start to lose oxygen. It also says that if you decide to climb Mount Everest you may have to fight bad weather and you can’t go and call a ranger to come save you because when they are trying to save you they might get hurt. …show more content…

You know ahead of time that you might get in bad weather but if you call a ranger to come and help you when you don't really need it they are taking time to go and help you when there might be someone else that really needs it who can't get help. Some People might want to go and climb Mount Everest but has no experience with climbing Mountains that high, so if they just go up and try to climb it and get into a bad position and call a ranger to go and save you sometimes that could lead up to both you and the ranger getting hurt. If you call a ranger they are going to try to help you but if you don’t really need it they could end up hurting them for someone you didn't even need
