Justine Moritz was recently executed for the murder of William Frankenstein. Moritz has worked for the Frankenstein family as a maid ever since she was a child. People find it hard to believe that she was capable of murdering William since it was Moritz who took care of him since he was born. Unfortunately, it is proven that someone is more likely to be murdered by a person they personally know. Data shows that it is not as likely to be killed by a random stranger compared to being killed by someone that has some form of relationship with the victim. The murder of William Frankenstein is just another example of a murder that were committed by a person close to him.
Moritz had been a house maid for the Frankenstein family for most of her life. Her mother had worked for the family long before Moritz herself was born. It is more likely for a murderer to have a stronger motive if their victim is someone they associate with. In Moritz’s case, it was either a murder where she had been planning it all along, or she had a sudden urge to kill and committed second degree murder. It would be unimaginable for many people to believe that Moritz was capable of committing first degree murder. No one would like to think of her plotting the murder of the child who considered her as an older sister but it is still viable. She is not the first person that comes to mind as someone who would do an act of evil such as this. Committing a crime of passion out of sudden rage is the most likely explanation to the murder. A market women spotted Moritz leaving the crime scene just after the body was found and she was in possession of a locket that was with William when he died. The evidence discovered during the case is too strong and supports the fact that Justine Moritz killed
