Almost all the women in my family were nurse, but my sisters and I can’t handle anything similar blood, we are squeamish. My sisters are a little better with dealing with blood, but one of them can’t do hospitals and is going to be a sports medicine trainer, while the other one can’t do anything with her own blood. Then there is me, that gets sick just thinking about the human body or blood. My seventh grade science teacher's name is Miss. White. We were going to learn about the human body, so I told her at the beginning of the year that I don’t do good with that stuff. “You'll be fine. It's going to be really fun”, she said. It was the first day of Chapin JV Soccer practice, and it was the last block of the day and I couldn’t wait to go soccer. I sat in my regular seat in the back of the room with no one near me but in front of me. Miss White started to play a video of someone giving plasma, and I knew I didn’t want to see that so I put my head down on the desk. Jenna! I couldn’t tell who was trying to wake me up. Jenna! Why were they in my room? Jenna! I feel started to feel like there was an anchor pulling me down to the ground. Jenna! I opened my eyes only to realize that I am was not in my room, but under a desk. Miss White was crouched down in front of me and telling kids to move the desks so the nurse could bring the wheelchair in. My head was being split open. I couldn’t focus on what was happening around me. I couldn’t go to practice, but I went to school. Eventually I went to a trainer at Chapin High School to get checked out because my head was still killing me. I heard the words I was praying I wouldn't hear.
