Miley Cyrus, formerly Destiny Hope Cyrus, was born on November 23rd, 1992. She was born to Leticia “Tish” and Billy Ray Cyrus in their hometown of Franklin, Tennessee. They named her Destiny Hope Cyrus, because they knew she would go far in life and do great things. As she began to grow and socialize more, Billy and Tish started to notice that she always smiled, so they nicknamed her “Miley”. She has two real siblings, a half-brother, and an adopted brother and sister. She came from a family with a background in music and acting. Her father was a famous country singer, her adopted brother is part of a band out of California called Metro Station, her older sister is an actress, as well as her younger sister, Noah. During September of 2007, rumors started to circulate that Miley was pregnant. This was a falsehood that arouse when an image of Miley on the page of J-14 magazine had the caption of “Miley’s Meltdown”. On October 18th, 2008, the “Best of Both Worlds” tour began. There were 69 show dates, 14 more than were originally planned. Miley added 14 because the first shows sold out immediately, and she wanted to give more fans a chance to see the tour. The following February, a 3D movie of the concert tour was premiered in theaters all over america. On February 13th, 2009, the song: “Hoedown Throwdown” was released. The following week another song was released, this one is called “The Climb”. In June of 2009, she switched from United Talent Agency to Creative Artists Agency, based out of Los Angeles. During July of this year, Hannah Montana 3 soundtrack was released. In 2010, she released her third studio album called, Can’t Be Tamed. This album was produced with the help of Hollywood Records.
