If I were to be the Chairman, or a member of the Subcommittee and had Michael J. Fox stand before me and speak to me about Parkinson’s and why it should be more than adequately funded, I would personally hand the $75 million to the Udall Parkinson’s Research Act. To say that Mr. Fox’s speech was effective would be an understatement. He was direct, compassionate, and respectful.
