Soccer fans all over the world have participated in the debate of who is the best soccer player today. The debate has been narrowed down to two candidate: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Both Ronaldo and Messi have many fans around the world. Many say Messi is the best soccer player on the planet, and many say Ronaldo is. Now, they both are really great players, but in my opinion Ronaldo has the slight edge over Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo is better because of his athleticism, his playing in two leagues, his worth, and his success with his country.
