Mercantilism is where governments use trading to make a profit. So Great Brittan was taking goods from the colonies and selling it to people and back to the colonies. This angered the colonies so they wanted to fight. This eventually was one of the reasons for the American Revolution. The Navigation Acts were first introduced in 1660 where only products made in the colonies could only be shipped to other colonies or Great Britain. This caused Great Britain to be able to collect taxes in the Colonies. This also later was modified so the colonies couldn't buy any goods from anywhere else besides Great Britain. The Domination of New England was established in 1686 and ended in 1689. It combined the colonies of all the new England colonies. It
