Colleges and universities have been affected by the process called “mcdonaldizaton” because we can relate to the four organizational principles of mcdonaldization. We relate to efficiency. McDonald’s cook food in at a fast pace. We tend to think just because we rushed fast through the work that the work will be good when that is wrong. Sometimes McDonald’s rush through food and the order can come out bad. The next principle is predictability. McDonald’s have certain formulas they go by to cook the food, so does colleges and universities. We have a certain deadline when things are supposed to be due. We learn a certain unit or section every week. The third principle is uniformity. McDonald’s food is all the same size. Fries are cut a certain inch. For human species to reproduce intercourse must happen. A child’s sex is determined now of conception. If it is a boy, the farther released a “y” chromosome. If it is a girl the father released an “x” chromosomes. The mother always releases a “x” chromosome. If it is a male the growth of testicular tissue forms producing testosterone. If little testosterone is produced, the embryo produced female genitals. Most heterosexual couples have face to face intercourse with the women on bottom and the man on top, but half way around the world most couples do not have sex this way. People showing affection varies from society to society, such as people in the United States kiss in public but Chinese only kiss in public, the French kiss once on each cheek, the Belgians kiss three times starting on either cheek, and New Zealand rub noses.
