Recommended: Setting and achieving goals

The proudest action I have encountered, would be making the Dean’s List my first semester of college. I ended my first semester at Kent State with a 3.7 GPA. I do not think my parents have been more proud of me than in the moment they found out how well I had done. Neither of my parent went to college, so it’s important for my siblings and I to go to college and graduate. My older sister has already graduate college, and now it is my turn. My circumstances and environment played a major role in my academic career. Before high school, I went to a private school. Private schools usually penalize for not doing homework and this was one thing that has stuck with me. No matter the work load or homework situation, I always eventually get my work done. This is still relevant today. Although, the effort towards the work is not always my best. I knew a lot of people who did not do homework in high school and I am glad I was not one of those people.
