You probably want to know about my life, well it's simple, my life is wrestling
Introduction and Background info (birthplace, birthdate, any relevant childhood info, relevant relationship info, etc.): I was born June 6, 1959 in Palo Alto, California. As a child I was chubby, and my nickname was “pudge”. I was often bullied and I suffered from dyslexia. My teachers mistook it as a mental disorder. I wanted to turn things around and started to wrestle
Thesis
I started wrestling in junior high school. I never thought that I would have a successful career within included my high school, college, after college, and my coaching career. Main Idea 1: high school career My high school record allowed me to compete in the Tbilisi tournament in Soviet Georgia. It's was called “the toughest tournament in the world” by many. I received silver in the tournament but scored the most points than any other American. …show more content…

But my coach Ed Hart petitioned to let me wrestle. But they made me wrestle two weight classes up than my original weight. I pinned all the to the finals and won 12-1 In the finals. People say my senior year was the most successful in U.S. history.
Main Idea 2: college career
Because of my successful high school career I was looked at by many do. I was at Oklahoma State for two years. I went 30-4 at Oklahoma State and was an All-American. The next two years I was at Oklahoma university. I went 61-4 and was a 2 time All-American and a NCAA national champion at 167 lbs defeating Mike Sheets from Oklahoma
