Lori Greiner, also known as the “Queen of QVC” is a very influential business women in today's society. She is a self-made millionaire, and has made over 500 products. (Meet Lori np) I believe people throughout the world can learn and grow from what Lori has done and will continue to do with her life. With her four money rules for new entrepreneurs, and her advice she gives out on the show Shark Tank, she definitely has the experience needed to be a role model to young people who are trying to manage their money. Lori was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1969. (Lori Greiner np) As a child she didn't have the best life at home due to her parents getting divorced when she was nine years old. (Lori Greiner np) She took this and used it as motivation to be what she is today. She went to college and majored in Communications, and while she was a student, she began selling her own jewelry on the side. (Lori Greiner np) This was the start of her career as an entrepreneur. This is important for any student beginning to save for college because they need to understand the various ways they can pay for college besides taking out loans and borrowing from family members. This is currently playing a big role in my life, as I am trying to plan out my future and the money I will need to spend for my education.
