Lifetime Accomplishments

American author, Napoleon Hill, once said, "The starting point of all achievement is desire." (Rivera, 2013). Throughout life, individuals strive to be successful; however, how does one person measure their accomplishments over their lifetime? In my opinion, I feel that, collectively, all lifetime achievements measure a person’s successfulness. A person's character plays a significant role in a person's success. Personally, I think I have particular characteristics which provide me the fortitude to persevere and achieve any goal I set for myself. A person with strong convictions and the determination to succeed will do so, if their mind is in the fight.

Consequently, I was re-admitted to APSU and my academic transcript showed I completed approximately twelve semester hours towards my bachelor’s degree. Furthermore, I worked 70-hour work weeks for the next two years while I conquered a rigorous academic schedule.
