Liberalism is a skeptics of Gods traditional Word. Most liberalist follow the twisted view that the word of God historically ministered does not mean the same as life is today. Liberalism is an attempt to reinterpret the image of Jesus, and that they are denying the identity of God. Liberal Theology are the studies of what religion is to the human, and not the studies of who God is in his revelation. Pruning biblical doctrine is dangerous because it removes the nature of who Jesus is. In
Lane, he says, “A low view of the work of Jesus will result in a low view of his person”.
(Lane, Pg.239) Moreover, Schleiermacher’s views on Christ were weak. Without standing, he has distorted view of human sin with little response to God’s Judgement. (Lane, Pg.240)
