Leopards and cheetahs are both big cats in African and somewhat of asia. They compete for food and territory, along with African lions, wild dogs, hyenas, and jackals. Leopards are found in Africa, and Asia, usually on the southern side of asia. Cheetahs are found all over Africa and in southern Asia as well. Cheetah’s have a deep chest narrow waist short coarse fur (tan with 2-3 cm in diameter black spots) white spotless underbelly with four to six rings on tail. (diffen.com) Leopards have relatively short legs with a long body and a massive skull with powerful jaw muscles, Males are 30% larger than females.(diffen.com)
Both cats have similarities between the two. They are about the same size. They both make a good sprint for their prey although leopards tend to stalk their prey a little more. They eat medium sized prey which is relatively smaller than prey of other big cats eat. The females are solitary in both species though cheetah males make a coalition, male leopards are also solitary.
Leopards are the strongest big cat there is, they can drag their prey, which is sometimes bigger than the leopard is, up into trees for safekeeping and safe eating from other big predators. They are also the fastest climbers of all the big cats. Leopards hunting consists of stalking and ambush. They like to pounce down from a tree or stalk up in tall grass and then pounce. They are opportunistic predators, they normally eat mammals like antelopes, gazelles, deer, pigs, primates and domesticated livestock. The leopard is stronger so he would win most of the time but if the cheetah were male and happened to be in a coalition with other male cheetahs then the leopard might back off. Also leopards are very territorial if a leopard seen a cheetah near by he might try and chase the cheetah off but other than that cheetahs and leopards pretty much live in perfect harmony.

Minks and humans share various common characteristics because of their common roots in the animal kingdom. Both Human and Mink species are classified as Animalia Chordata Mammalia until they are separated by order, Humans being primates and Minks being in the order carnivora. Lions are one of the world’s most famous predators. Their preys ranges from insects to giraffes; but they prefer large animals such as zebras and wildebeast. The lion will cautiously stalk its prey until it is within close range and it will sprint reaching speeds about 50 to 60 km/h. The lion will usually take its prey down by the neck using its huge jaws and razor sharp claws. The female is the hunter and will have the first meat, soon after the male comes to share the meat.
Now, as I have said there are a few similarities and much diversity between the animals. Mongooses are small mammals that look like a cat and a weasel mix. When they are born, like most mammals, they cannot see. Even though this happens they are independent to find their own colony after four to six months of being alive. A mongoose can grow to have a length of eight to twenty-six inches from head to the end of the tail. When running at full speed they can get up to twenty miles an hour, the average person can only run fifteen miles an hour in short bursts.
Most People prepare for the future but, only save as much as they need. This is shown in both ‘Ant and Grasshopper’ and ‘The richer, the poorer. In ‘Ant and Grasshopper,’ the grasshopper wants food, but he doesn’t have any, so he goes to the Ant, only the Ant says that the grasshopper should have worked harder. In ‘The Richer, The Poorer,’ Lottie wants to work and earn money but, she turns old and isn’t able to work, so she makes her life better and doesn’t only saves her money, she spends it, then has to take care of her sister because she became poor after her husband died. Anansi and Master Cat are both animals and they can talk and reason. Another example would be that they both use their wits to attain their goals. Anansi tricked the creatures and captured them and the cat tricked the ogre into turning into a mouse in order to kill him. Also, they all deal with a powerful figure. In “How Stories Came to Earth”, Anansi got the stories from the sky-god, Nyame, and the cat in “Master Cat” tricked the king.
Throughout the course of evolution the cat’s ability to survive in the wild has become extremely dependent upon its hunting ability. In order for feral, or undomesticated, cats to survive on their own in the wild they have developed hereditary traits and instincts from their ancestors throughout time. Though these hereditary traits that they have inherited are helpful for undomesticated cats, they can often cause problems when domesticated house cats revert back to the ways of their ancestors, often influencing the ways that cats kept as pets are managed. The Hyena natural enemies are the lion, wild dogs, leopards, cheetah, and jackals. The Hyena is very competitive with the lion. They both try to take bit of each others kills, but most of the time a Hyena kills its prey, the lion comes and starts eating and the Hyena has to wait.
