LeBron James is a good leader. He plays basketball with passion. Orwell made it clear that in “Animal Farm,” the pigs are awful leaders. They do not respect their peers and are very selfish. LeBron James always credits his teammates when he is successful. He is very humble. Unlike the pigs in Animal Farm, LeBron James embodies the characteristics of a strong leader because he/she shows great amounts of passion, celebration, and humility.
LeBron James shows passion on the basketball court. He helped his high school basketball team win championships starting in his freshman year. LeBron James always celebrates his teammates success when it comes to scoring, passing, or even communicating. The pigs are not good at celebrating their comrade’s successes. The book stated ,‘to celebrate our victory!’ cried Squealer. ‘What victory?’ said Boxer. His knees were bleeding, he had lost a shoe and split his hoof, and a dozen pellets had lodged themselves in his hind leg. ‘What victory, comrade? Have we not driven the enemy off our soil — the sacred soil of Animal Farm?”The pigs think that if a success for them is a success for everyone. They do not understand that some of their comrades could’ve failed. They are very selfish.The author stated that, “James, who never had a top-tier teammate in Cleveland, was getting two in Miami. Dwyane Wade already had won a championship with the Heat, and Chris Bosh was leaving the Toronto Raptors to complete what was instantly the NBA's most daunting top three. In explaining his decision, James spoke of alleviating the "the pressure of going out and scoring 30 every night.” LeBron James knew that he had good teammates.
