People always say that I’m so sweet, that I normally always follow the rules, and that I would never do something my parents specifically told me not to. Well, most people don’t know that I have broken rules, that I am not always sweet, and that sometimes I do things my parents tell me not to. I always have consequences for my bad actions, but one time I got lucky. One time I ran away. During spring break 2013 I finally learned how to ride a bike. Elizabeth and I had gone to Amelia Island. Both of our moms went plus another family. We decided to go to the basement/garage to look for games and things to play with. We found some bikes, she asked me if I wanted to ride them around the building. I just simply told her I didn’t know how to ride a bike. She decided to teach me how. …show more content…

We rode around the building complex for a while until I was pretty good and could stay on without falling over. She realized that I was pretty good and we decided that we wanted to go ride our bikes to get ice cream. We parked our bikes and ran up to where our moms were to ask if we could go. My mom specifically said no, however Elizabeth’s mom said it’s up to Mrs. Shelly. We weren’t supposed to go so we went down to where our bikes were and rode around some more. Elizabeth came up to me and said we should go anyways. I argued with her for a couple of minutes but she convinced me to go with her. We took off down the bike trail. There were lots of people walking on it and I got very nervous. I had to stop quite a lot. At one point Elizabeth took off without me and I, luckily, took the right path and eventually caught up with her. After a few more minutes of riding we finally got to the ice cream shop.
