Introduction
The place where children love to come and shop to is currently in danger. The devastating news of Toys R Us current store liquidations has created a void for children across the United States of America. To fill this void the founder at Strategic Marks, Ellia Kassoff, published on March 17, 2018, on his LinkedIn profile, that Kay Bee Toys is coming back. He gave some insight on the current plan that they have spent working on for the last six months. Kassoff stated that they are innovating a sustainable model that will bring KB Toys back and have it compete with big box stores and online competitors as well. Every decision that the KB toys will immediately affect their performance against other major retail competitors such as Target, Amazon, and Walmart. Kay Bee Toys has already operated before giving them an idea of what flaws and issues to address as they reopen. There is a considerate amount of suggestions that I have provided for the success of the relaunching toy store. I believe taking into consideration the resolutions that I provide would help the company have a consumer point of view. Howard Kaufman stayed as the company’s CEO, and the company’s objective remained the same as it began to develop in malls. Unlike its competitors, Kay-Bee Toys strategy was different in that it was placed inside a mall, where most customers went in to shop at other stores. They aligned their entrances with hugely discounted toys to attract their customers to enter and explore the rest of the store which was painted in bright colors. The company’s philosophy was to emphasize family values just as much as revenue.
