The Incident Katherine Knight and John Price were dating at the time when she killed him. The couple had been arguing over marriage and infidelity. On February 29, 2000, Katherine stabbed her partner 37 times all over his body. She tried to cover her crime by taking pills so she would overdose. Her plan of taking pills did not work so she went to her second attempt of hiding the evidence which was cooking him and feeding him to his children. At first she skinned him and hung his skin on a meat hook. After the meal was done cooking she set up the table with each of his children’s name next to their own plate. Katherine’s mother, Barbara, had an affair with Ken Knight, which made them have to move to Moree splitting up the family. Barbara’s ex-husband Jack kept two of their kids and the other two went to live with an aunt. On October 24, 1955, Katherine and her twin Joy were born. Classmates even said that Katherine was a loner that bullied to the smaller kids at school. She attended Muswellbrook high school up to the age of 15 and dropped out. During her years in school, she assaulted one boy and got injured by a teacher that said to be using self-defense. On the other side when she was not in rage she was seen as a model student and received rewards for her good behavior. She never learned how to read and write in school, but she still managed to gain a job as a cutter in a clothing factory. Several months after this job she went to her dream job at an abattoir where she ended owning her own butcher knives.
