1.0 Introduction 1.1 Historical background Juicy Sendirian Berhad is a multinational beverage corporation which established by Anderson Chin since year 2002. Anderson Chin selling fresh juices with a stand stall initially. After a few years, fresh juices that he sold become the most popular juices in town. In year 2002, Anderson Chin set up Juicy Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam. The mission of Juicy Sdn Bhd is to bring high quality freshly pressed juices to the consumers. They believe that juice is the best way for a person to get a large amount of enzymes and nutrients. Juicy Sdn Bhd introduced 10 flavours of juices such as Orange juice, Apple juice, Pineapple juice, Aloe Vera Juice, Strawberry juice, Grape juice, Mango juice, Lychee juice, Mango juice and Guava Juice. Aloe Vera Juice is the most popular juices among those 10 flavors. With affordable prices and high quality of juices, Juicy Sdn Bhd quickly gained popularity to become favourite amongst local consumers. Aloe Vera Juice is the most popular juices among those 10 flavors. In year 2004, they started spread their business by retailing the bottled juices to hypermarket such as Tesco, Giant, Jaya Jusco, Econsave. Besides that, they also retail the bottled juices to restaurant such as café, Chinese restaurant, mamak restaurant and etc. In year 2006, Juicy Sdn Bhd introduced yogurts drinks and mix fruit drinks to the market. In addition, they also provided the recipe of applying the juice and yogurt the dishes. The popularity of those bottled juices and yogurt successfully bring Juicy Sdn Bhd to foreign country. In year 2010, Juicy Company decided to launch a donation event which 2% of total amount in every single receipt will donate to charity organization. Transaction Authorization The check received should be authorized by cash receipt manager instead of normal clerk. This is because it is not the responsibility of a normal clerk. Security Cash receipt clerks should bank in daily instead of weekly. After that, the manager should get confirmation directly from the bank whether the money is being banked in or not. This can minimize the risk of money being stolen by the staff or thief. Authorization The clerk should get the authorization from the department manger before he/she deposits the cash into the bank. Supervision There should have a supervision of employees in the mailroom in order to avoid the unethical behaviour and dishonest act such as disclosed the confidential information to Competitor Company.
