A description of the belief system Jews believe in the 13 Principles of Faith. The 13 Principles of faith are God exists, God is one, God is incorporeal, Prayer is to be directed to God alone, The words of the prophets are true, Moses was the greatest of the prophet, The Torah as the holy book, God knows the thoughts of men, God will reward the good and punish the wicked, The Messiah will come, the dead will be resurrected. The Jewish lifestyle is simple and strict. Jews don’t really do much preaching to people but anyone is allowed to convert to Judaism. There wasn’t much preaching that was done to spread the religion but anyone could convert to it. The migration of the Jews was called the Diaspora. The Diaspora was a time period of about 2,000 years when the Jewish groups migrated across the globe. The Jews were forced out of their homeland causing them to spread and take their religion and culture with them. The Babylonians were one of the groups that were responsible for the spread of Judaism. Another group that was responsible for the spread of Judaism was the Romans. The Jewish beliefs weren't really spread, it was the Jews who spread. They went to many countries and now are a global religion.
