Recommended: The effect of divorce on family life

Per Reporter: Jamari and J'Karius do not go to school. Jamari is responsible for taking care of his younger sibling (Jrule and J'Karius) while their mother (Latia) is work. Latia works in Moblie, Alamaba at Aloryica. The children are not being homeschooled, because Latia is always gone. The children are always left alone in the home. The family has had several report reporter to DHS. A report was reported when Latia left Jrule home alone. Jrule was three years old. Jrule was crying and had used the potty on himself. The neighbor (Mrs. Bank) contacted DHS. Mrs. Bank took Jrule a bath. Jrule had little sore on his leg, penis and bottom from the urine being on him too long. This occurred three weeks ago. The home is nasty and distinguished. The home has dirty laundry all over the home. The kitchen has dirty dished in the sink. There is food stuck or the floor and the dishes. The home smelled like urine. The DHS Worker saw the little sore on Jrule. Jamari got into trouble with Latia for going to school and leaving Jrule home alone. The last time the DHS Worker (unknown) was at home. Jamari disclosed to the DHS Worker that: "I'm tired. I don't want to do this anymore." Jamari is tired of being the adult and caregiver of his younger sibling when Latia is not at home. Latia is never at home. The children do not have the option to go to school without facing the consequences from Latia. It is unknown what is the consequence. Latia brag about DHS coming to the home and does nothing. Latia stated that: "DHS is her lease concerned and she is not worried about them." Latia had gone to jail in Jackson County (ADC). It is unknown why and when. The children were home alone. Latia had an NCI hit (warrant) for another Agency as well. Latia's boyfriend (Carlos) was selling drugs (Spice, Prescription pills (unknown), marijuana, cocaine) out of the home.
