The doorbell rings, on the other side Travis Alexander’s co-workers and friends in a panic. They are looking for him, not answering the phone and has missed a work conference. Nervousness began to set as a search for the key to his roommate’s door. Ordinarily, travel for work sometimes last for days, but he hasn’t answered his phone, responded to messages; becoming frantic the more he searches for the key to the master bedroom. Ah! The key!! As the door swings open to the master bedroom, the unbelievable is seen… large pools of blood in the hall to the bathroom, on the walls, Travis lay slumped over in the shower of his master bathroom. His throat slit, stabbed multiple times and shot in the face. On June 9th, 2008, Travis Alexander roommate called 911 reporting he found his roommate dead. During police questioning he and his coworkers mentioned that his ex-girlfriend, Jodi Arias was stalking his and the relationship was not good. Strangely, 3 calls from coming in from California, Jodi Arias was persistent to contact with the police to find out information and aid if needed as they were processing the crime scene. Evidence against her included a .25 caliber gun reported stolen from Jodi Arias grandparents’ home in May, a hand print with DNA matching hers, moreover, a digital camera with photos placing her there at the day and time of the murder in the washing machine among blood soaked towels. The memory card was undamaged and revealing photos time stamped, with explicit photos of their activities prior to the murder as well as a few during and after. Jodi’s actions around the day of the murder became more questionable the more investigators dug. She was arrested in California 15 July and extradited to Arizona, where she pleaded not
