Whoa! Why is that guy on the field? He is not supposed to be here! One of the biggest moments in history is when Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier. Number forty-two on the Dodgers, which is Jackie Robinson, was inspired to be a baseball player and made history that changed the world forever.

Jackie Robinson was born on January 31, 1919, in Cairo, Georgia. On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson became the first African-American to play baseball in the major leagues. He played his first game with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Jackie attended UCLA, where he became the first athlete to letter in four varsity sports: baseball, basketball, football and track.
