Jack the Ripper

At least five women were killed in 1888 in public on the streets of London and no one seems to know who did it. These women were killed a mile apart from each other. The murder would remove the kidneys and uterus from the victims. The authorities never found out who actually committed these crimes, but they names this murder, “Jack the Ripper.” One theory that has been considered was whether Jack the Ripper was a doctor or not.

Jack the Ripper was created after the mysterious killing of five prostitutes. He is known for the gruesome murders from August 7 1888 to September 10, 1888 (“Jack the Ripper Biograpy”). The murders were committed a mile apart from each other. He would attack his victims on the public streets of London by stabbing them through their clothing. He targeted five out of the 1200 prostitutes that worked the streets of London (Raines).

DOCTOR OR NO DOCTOR

Jack the Ripper was thought by some historian to be doctor. Jack the Ripper was thought to have an extensive knowledge of human anatomy because of the way he killed his victims.

He attacked her from the front by first stabbing them and then slicing their throat to silence her. This meant there was not much blood shed ("Illustration Depicting Jack the Ripper Attacking a Woman"). Jack the Ripper didn't just stab people. He mutilated and dissolved and removed their organs. He terrorized London killing and mutilating his victims bodies in an unusual manner indicating that the killer has some training in human anatomy (“Jack the Ripper”).
