There is a vast variety of opinions about different things, people think differently and they also believe in differnt things in life. The quote I chose to do was from Jack London, it is “I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet”. This quote seemed to pop out to me and I became very interested in unraveling the true meaning in the words. He uses very descriptive words to paint an image in your mind about the meteor and the planet and it is the part that really wanted stood out to me and wanted me to do it. He uses a description of a beautiful ball of flame to describe exciting things maybe things that are even dangerous and compares it to a planet forever but boring. With doing this Jack London helps explain his idea that it is better to live life that to be all bored and too cautious in your life. With this quote he helps paint an image in your head and also to explain his beliefs to us. We see this same idea of living life to the fullest in “ The World's Most Dangerous Sports” by Clare Davidson they interview a base jumper named Harry Porter and he says “Why? Because you can” meaning why not do it what's stopping you. When you look at the facts a lot of people do these extreme or even crazy things for thrills and for the fun of it, they do these things because they are tired of just a normal life. I agree with them too because if you just stay at home and don’t live your life you won’t do anything or get to experience something so you have a boring life with no excitement. Sure things are that are dangerous can be pretty bad but sometimes it doesn’t help to try them or get to experience
