What is The American Dream ? many ask, well The American Dream can have diverse meanings to various people. according to the author Audra ,Clark the American dream consists of opportunIties and trying to make the best out of one's life. it is not about having all the cars you can a possibly have? or a nice big mansion or having the most money. it is more about living to your fullest potential and demonstrate it regardless of what ethnicity you may be or who they may be, or where they come from ,even if they are poor or rich anyone can manage to attain it if they just set their minds to it. “All men are equal ,that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, Liberty …show more content…

the American dream is for everyone that wants to reach for it ,for anyone that wants to give it their full potential because It does not matter where you come from or if you are an immigrant because the American dream does not declare “ the American dream is just attainable for americans” . I strongly believe that the American dream is attainable to anyone but not the same way because It depends on how each of them work for it . the American dream also depends on how much effort someone is willing to put in, some people just want to work enough to survive and get through and do a little better than what they have done in their home country. other people are willing to give it their all and work harder than others to buy their dream things such as Cars, houses,clothes etc… but regardless of what you decided to do it is attainable …show more content…

lastly the new American dream with less focus on financial gain and more emphasis on living a simple ,fulfilling life . There are so many different versions of the American dream because some people grow up in different circumstances and different environments . For example a wealthy child might want to pursue the American dream of material prosperity. why? the reason is because This child may have a nice life, but he wants to have more and his idea of the American Dream is to have more cars and a fancier house. On the other hand, for a poor child the American Dream can be that in the future, he wants to ensure his family's survival. This child might not care so much about fancy houses or big and nice cars because he knows that all those things are not necessary they are just extra things but he just wants to make sure there is always food on the table and they his family never goes through or suffers hunger. I believe that these defenifions of these American dreams just depends on what they person is looking for or what their Vision
