The American Dream is the American population’s vision of success. The dream of making good money, having a nice house, having a nice car, having a big house, having a lot of nice things, and living healthy. They associate these things with success. But the list of what people associate with success could be much longer .There is a 1% of the American population that is living that American Dream right now. And the 99% of Americans who are chasing the dream is trying to be like them and chasing this dream of success. Because everyone has a different viewpoint of what success is. That 1% has money, a nice house, a nice car, a lot of nice things, and all that good stuff that we associate with success. But the thing is, the American Dream is becoming harder and harder to reach and attain that level of success. Because there are certain groups of people in America that have a harder time reaching this goal of success. They’re chasing the idea of having a lot of money, a nice house, a nice car, and a bunch of nice things to show off. But in reality not everyone can chase this dream. Or at least that’s what it looks like. Because it looks like only the upper class can have the dream. And it is harder for people of different ethnicity, gender, and social class. It’s possible for people from these different classes to achieve the American Dream, but they have a lot more easy of a time. For instance, people in a higher social class seem like they have a head start on chasing the dream. Because they already have a good amount of money if they are in a higher social class or “rich”. But people in the lower class have a much harder time chasing the American Dream because they don’t have as much money as the people in the upper class. And that’s just the reality of it
