To conquer and to invade the privacy, freedom, and liberty of one country or state is inexcusable and groundless. Irredentist movements are never justified. Irredentism is the advocating annexation of states and territories done by another state on the grounds of shared culture or previous historical possession. Such movements are the roots of all conflict and calamity. It is extremely intolerable to lose complete independence, recourses, and the ability to defend rights.
Liberty is the mother of goodness and virtue, and “independence is happiness.” All independent countries and territories have the right to fight for their recourses, especially oil. The Gulf war between Iraq and Kuwait has involved the demanding of annexation of Kuwait’s land to Iraq, declaring it as Iraqi territory. This claim was an excuse to get hold of Kuwait’s sufficient and plentiful amount of oil and recourses. On August 2, 1990 at 2:00am, Iraq secretly commenced an invasion of Kuwait. The state of Kuwait was forcefully annexed, and in a few days Saddam Hussein has proclaimed that it was the nineteenth province of Iraq. Immoral and uncivilized battles have emerged between the two political parties, as well as the loss of innocent and blameless souls. The invaders caused so much destruction to the state's groundwork and infrastructure, and the burgling of homes was widespread. Iraqi soldiers attempted to change all Kuwaiti car license plates to Iraqi ones. Above all, the Iraqi’s treatment to the Kuwaitis was ruthless and merciless. Iraqi troops held thousands of citizens who were questioned in an uncivilized manner. There were also numerous incidents of murders and rape. It is mandatory for to accept the nature of irredentist predispositions, and try to form methods and tactics to handle or resolve conflicts that they have created and will create later on in the future. To lose complete independence, resources, and the ability to defend rights is extremely inexcusable. In almost every part of the world numerous cultural and ethnic factions live together, and therefore it is almost unmanageable to draw a series of boundaries that encircles people from only one ethnic group. In addition, it is tremendously hard to integrate everyone who is unalike with a leading ethnic group. Irredentism always has an irritating effect on minority or majority struggles. By developing common distrust and animosity, it regularly causes violence, and occasionally, even war.
