Interviewee’s Context The interviewee is a Female, aged 25 years and is unmarried. She is born and raised in Sydney, Australia with her two sisters and parents with upper- socioeconomic status. She is Lebanese, Christian. She is bilingual and speaks both Arabic and English. Her Primary school education was through the public school system. By the time she reached secondary school, her education was through a private school system. She has a Bachelor of Architecture. Her father is a Pharmacist, and her mother is a Psychologist. They both have their clinics. She has thoroughly enjoyed her schooling years, particularly Primary. The interviewee’s family background had played a significant part in her educational journey. Educator’s should not make assumptions or believe that all students are the same. Every child has a different cultural, social, academic level and political background, and thus, this influences their willingness or ability to learn. • The interviewee had numerous positive encounters with educators who were engaging, nurturing and supportive. It is unlikely a teacher who can give this kind of positive learning encounters holds the philosophy of their role being the distributor of knowledge to the pupils. This type of educating is regularly unengaging. The Interviewee's educator's aptitudes to treat their pupil's needs and wants independently did not go unnoticed and made the classroom environment warm, fun and welcoming. • The interviewee feels that educators ought to perceive pupils as having diverse strengths and weaknesses. The teacher had an image of her as an incredible artist and made it visible to her, which helped her to continue what she was passionate about. Connecting this to Giamminuti, (cited in Gobby & Walker. p.102) if we hold an image of children as extraordinary thinkers and learners, then we are required to make this visible to others. Also, the interviewee stated that the teacher’s actions towards her were actions of an effective teacher, as stated by Walker (cited in Gobby & Walker, 2017, p. 443) teachers are relied upon to work cooperatively with pupil’s, they are required to have high levels of communication and organisational skills while also being
