Recommended: Inception movie visual analysis essay

Inception Review Inception is a movie that came out in 2010 that tell the efforts of Dom Cobb an expert in the art of extraction (stealing information from deep within someone’s subconscious while they sleep) his skills make him a valuable asset, but has cost him the life of his wife and the love of his children in a attept to reclaim his life he assembles a team of chemists architecs and other extractors to help him plant an idea in the soon to be heir of a successful company but along the way Dom’s past and his subconscious catch up with him.
In the movie Inception the extractors and architects enter people’s dreams, and then build dreams that are so realistic that they are unable to tell if they are in a dream or if they are in reality. …show more content…

While trapped in limbo the couple discovered they could affect their world as much as the desired. Mallory unfortunately became obsessed with the power she had in limbo. Dom wanted her to leave limbo so planted the idea that her reality was fake Once Mallory woke up the idea that her reality may be fake stuck and she concluded that what Dom thought was reality was just a dream that she could wake up from. In order for her to know something she had to believe it. And although the movie never stated it we can assume she had so sort of justification for why she believed what she did. They only thing missing to make Mals ideology knowledge is her justified belief being true, Dom says “I broke into the deepest recess of her mind” and if at any point someone can plant fall knowledge in your brain it is hard to know if anything can ever be true. Certainty is impossible. Even within the mechanics of the movie there is so much uncertainty. For example each totem can theoretically be accurately recreated, taking away any certainty an extractor had that he or she wasn’t inside of a dream. Another example with Mal and Dom’s Totems unless you watched the top forever it is impossible to truly know if it ever falls over. Certainty can even be brought into question with the viewer I don’t have a totem so

    In “The Fish” by Elizabeth Bishop, the narrator attempts to understand the relationship between humans and nature and finds herself concluding that they are intertwined due to humans’ underlying need to take away from nature, whether through the act of poetic imagination or through the exploitation and contamination of nature.
