A) This class has taught me what kind of learner I am. I found out that I am a strong willed learner by taking the Learning Connections Inventory test. This test teaches you about your learning patterns, which help you, become a better critical thinker, reader and writer. The LCI test will break down how you learn and show you which skill you; use first, use as needed, or avoid. These patterns are called sequence, precision, technical reasoning, and confluence. Once you finish with the test your scores will show you what kind of learner you are, such as strong willed learner, dynamic learner, or bridge learner. I have learned from this class which patterns I am stronger in and which patterns I avoid. I now know how to use each pattern to its full potential, and how to use multiple patterns at any given time. B) I typically use my LCI patterns to make my life flow with ease. I find that I use more of technical reasoning and sequence in my day-to-day activities. I am the type of learner that learns hands on (technical reasoning) and I always have a daily checklist of things that need to be done (sequence). My LCI score were sequence 30, precision 32, technical reasoning 23, and confluence 25. I use my sequence pattern on a use first basis. I am always making to do lists, organizing lessons plans, and making sure my work in done in timely manner. I use my precision pattern on a use first basis as well. Sometimes these patterns need to be calmed down. Sometimes I might be too confident, or my OCD might make me crazy trying to have everything done just right. Sometimes I might stress a bit much on trying to cross off everything on my do list, especially trying to do it before I go home each day. With confluence, I would intensify it. I need to use my confluence more. Try stepping outside of the box and take risks. Let go of the control I feel and see the bigger picture. Try doing some things repeatedly.
